The beginning
SCANMARKET is a Danish company founded in early 1999. The company concept originated in an open marketplace, where buyers and sellers could meet, interact, find potential partners and negotiate prices.
As a result of changes in the market and requirements from
clients, the company concept was changed and from 2001 we moved
from an open marketplace to a closed eSourcing software platform,
with a much stronger focus on buyer-driven eSourcing processes than
initially. This new strategy proved a successful one
and SCANMARKET rapidly established itself on the European eSourcing
market.
Today
Since then the eSourcing Platform has grown to include modules that cover the entire eSourcing process, from eRFx to eAuctions optimizing decision-making and to Contract Management ensuring compliance. To complement and effectively support the eSourcing process, Scanmarket also provides Consultancy Services and Spend Analysis.
Today SCANMARKET is a global leading provider of a user-friendly, web-based closed eSoucing platform for professional buyers in large companies. SCANMARKET's eSourcing solution is being used by more than 250 clients, of which many are international leaders within their industry.
